Dr. Nick's interest in health and fitness began when he was a member of the Cross Country and Track and Field team at Wheeling High School. He went on to attend Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.

He graduated from National University of Health Sciences in December of 2005 as a Doctor of Chiropractic. He currently is an instructor for the Department of Nutrition and Biochemical Therapeutics at the University.

His interest in fitness moved him to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He personally trains individuals of all fitness levels. Dr. Nick is a member of the Arlington Heights Runners Club - “The Arlington Trotters.” He discusses the management and prevention of common runner-related injuries in the Monthly Arlington Trotters Newsletter. He also volunteers his time coordinating the track workouts for the Arlington Trotters at Harper Community College.

He has attained certification status as a Golf Injury Specialist. Certification includes training in the diagnosis, treatment and injury prevention of golf injuries. A unique part of this program utilizes video taping of a golfer's swing to identify faults and improve performance. He is co-instructor for the “Beyond Golf” program at Old Orchard Country Club, which combines golf lessons with personalized golf-specific exercises. He is a continuing education instructor at School District 211 where he teaches golf conditioning and the spinal rehabilitation courses.

In addition to conventional chiropractic techniques he is skilled in Activator Methods a specific technique which employs low -force joint manipulation.

Dr. Nick has been an active member of the community for over 15 years. He is a volunteer at the Prospect Heights Park District and is a member of the Mount Prospect Lions Club.
