First Health Associates is pleased to announce a free educational seminar about hypertension.
The seminar will be held Saturday, February 25th from 11 am to 12 pm at Pioneer Park, 500 S. Fernandez ave in Arlington Heights and is free to the general public.
The seminar will feature a panel of medical professionals who will review the causes and treatment both medicinal and self care adaptations that can regain control of your blood pressure. Topics will include treatment options from a variety of different approaches from different providers in different fields of health care. We ask that those interested please register here. Jennifer Green is a Homeopathic practitioner and will discuss a variety of treatment options that involve natural remedies and approaches.
Tom Jordan, RD
Tom Jordan is a registered dietician and works with patients seeking to improve their diets. Jordan will speak about the DASH diet.
Aimee Weber, EP
Aimee Weber is an exercise physiologist and will offer insight to the important role of exercise in the treatment and prevention of hypertension.
