Eight Week High Intensity Boot Camp
Hard Bodies is an elite exercise and nutrition program designed to help you attain new levels of fitness. We can help you lose 5-15 pounds, gain 5-15 pounds, gain muscle mass or lose body fat. We combine the latest in exercise science and dietetics to help you attain your optimal weight, shape and fitness. Hard Bodies will have you feeling energized and looking fit whatever your age.

First Health’s Hard Bodies Fitness Boot Camp is designed to take you from mediocrity to high performance. Hard Bodies incorporates strength training, cardiovascular interval training, and sports nutrition geared at attaining maximal results in minimum time. Each Hard Body participant receives their own customized program based on their goals and needs.
Your program is designed by career health professionals who have at least a master’s level degree in health, dietetics or exercise science. We are not typical gym trainers and while we are an Illinois licensed medical facility we do not use or recommend the use of performance enhancing medications or supplements.
We'll teach you the proper exercise for your body type, medical need or sport. We'll guide you in proper dietetics to increase your energy levels, enhance your performance and assure maximum nutrient utilization. All programs at First Health are run by physicians, dietitians and exercise physiologists eager to make sure you accomplish your fitness dreams in a safe, yet effective manner.
It all starts with body typing and needs analysis. After doing a thorough fitness evaluation, reviewing your body measurements and your dietary and photo records, our team of specialists review your personal data and design a fitness program specifically for your needs. We can help take inches off your waist, thighs and hips, add inches to your chest, arms and shoulders or tone up flabby areas. We can help lower your cholesterol, bring down your blood pressure or balance your blood sugar levels. We'll increase your energy or design a program that will help your golf game, tennis game or just about any other of your life's endeavors.
Hard Bodies Eight Week Boot Camp Includes:
Fitness Evaluation, Body Typing and Pictures--before and after the program measurements, BMI calculations, body fat analysis, metabolic rate calculations, pictures and fitness testing to monitor your progress in the program.
Personalized Fitness Plan--as team we look at your evaluation data and preprogram pictures. We review your specific program goals and determine other targets that will help you reach the next level of overall fitness. Once we establish reasonable objectives our Program Coordinator writes an action plan that is again reviewed and shared with all staff. Your goals and dreams become our obsessions.
Twice Weekly Elite Level One-on-one Personal Training--you will work with our Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist twice per week. The program begins with full body functional training and progresses quickly through the 8 weeks.
Weekly Interval Strength Training--we hold a group training session on Saturday (11am-Noon). This is not a step aerobics class! The class focuses primarily on body weight exercises such as plyometrics and leaves even the most-fit participants getting a good burn.
Advanced Nutrition Classes--you'll attend a series of group education classes focusing on performance nutrition and nutrient timing. These five 30 minute classes meet before your Saturday workout.
Individual Nutrition Consultations--you meet with the Sports Nutritionist to tailor a nutrition plan specific to your food preferences and goals. We will meet 3 times during the program for initial instruction and follow up to gauge your progress.
Post Program Fitness Evaluation and Pictures--we'll assess your progress and make post program recommendations.
