Hi Dr. Paul, I got your note. I just finded reading Henry's comment and I am very much like Henry, I don't blog. I was part of the summer program and was very happy with the whole program and everyone at First Health. It is a total package deal that I can't say enough about. I lost 17.5 pounds during the program. I also had a few medical issues I was battling. The blood work that was done before and after the program showed improvement in those areas. The exercise I was doing was making a difference for me. Yes, I have put a few pounds back on, but I continue to work out once a week with Tom as my trainer and I am part of the Saturday morning exercise class and I also do yoga. The months of November and December will be hard for me because of work demands and the holidays. I still have more weight to lose and with First Health's help I will be back on track in January.

Its now been over 8 weeks since the winter session ended. I have had many thoughts about the people that I was in the program this week, and wondering how they were all doing. For myself, I've been able to keep up the cardio work that we started together and maintain the nutrition that Tom taught. Since the program ended I've lost another 11 pounds. I seem to have finally plateaued at 182. That's 4 pounds less than my high school weight. I have lost some weight in the past, but always put it back on. This time its staying off and I attribute that directly to the education of nutrition and the mathematics of how calories are burned and counted. I can't thank you enough for all you've done. I look forward to a reunion of the group in the near future.
