By now you should be getting used to logging your food either by hand or by using sparkpeople.  Please add comments and questions below about your experience."

I noticed my log needs alot more veggies. But since I have started logging what I eat I have the strength to say NO to junk food!!

I know exactly what you are talking about. I also know that no matter what, tracking has to be honest. In the past, I would put what I thought would be right. This time, it may take me 30-45 minutes to find what I need or piece together, but no more lying to myself. That's what got me into this in the first place. Everything is written into my Franklin, and at the end of the day, I transfer it into SparkPeople. Eventually, it will look like the 3 meals, 2 snack version with the five fruit and veggies as well as my water.

Most of the food logs coming in are looking pretty good. Reminder: I can't evaluate a food log that I don't receive :-) If you are having any questions or concerns please let me know.

Eating approximately 1200 calories leaves no room for junk food. 1200 calories goes by very quickly and if you are to stay full and satisfied, your calories need to be good calories like protein and good carbs. There is no room for empty calories that have no nutritional value. It is tough but what I have found is that if you stop eating sweets and other non-nutritional snacks you really do not crave them.
